Ahli Islamic will continue to offer innovative and attractive programmes to reward its customers while encouraging them to adopt positive financial practices to achieve their goals in the long-term.”

Qitaf prize scheme not only supports and encourages a culture of savings among the people of the Sultanate but also helps them to invest their capital in profitable assets, in accordance with the bank's criteria that is based on the Islamic Mudaraba principles.

Rawahi further added, “Ahli Islamic is on a consistent path of growth, delivering an innovative portfolio of products and services, that meet the needs of its customers and benefits them in multiple ways – providing them with a financially sound living, securing their future, and enabling their aspirations. On behalf of Ahli Islamic, I would like to congratulate the lucky winner of the first quarterly Qitaf draw, Abdul Wahid Al Murshidi. We hope this prize will help him achieve his dreams. We also invite our customers to continue saving to have greater opportunities to win.”

Qitaf account holders are eligible to participate in the draws if they maintain an average minimum balance of RO 50 for children dedicated draws and RO 100 for monthly and weekly draws. However, the minimum eligibility criterion for the quarterly draw is RO 1,000. The Qitaf cash prize is decided through a draw system, subject to criteria set by the bank.

The 2021 Qitaf scheme will reward an increased number of customers with prizes totalling more than RO 1,250,000, across its branches in the Sultanate. Qitaf accountholders automatically enter the main categories of draws. A dedicated children’s weekly prize draw has three (3) winners from each branch rewarded with OMR 50 each, and another two (2) general category winners from each branch winning OMR 250 each on a weekly basis.

In addition to the grand quarterly prize draw in March, June, September and December, in which the bank rewards four lucky winners with a total prize of RO 400,000, the bank also conducts monthly draws within eight months of the year and offers cash prizes totalling RO 160,000, distributed equally among eight winners (RO 20,000 each).
