Muscat: Two expatriates have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for smuggling narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
A statement issued online by ROP said: "North Al-Batinah Governorate Police Command arrests two expatriates on charges of smuggling narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances with the intent to trafficking and abuse them and enter the country illegally. ROP seized from their possession 50 kilograms of morphine, crystal, and hashish. The case is under process.
