MoH denies rumours of vaccines for all in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has denied rumours that vaccines were made available to all age groups in the Sultanate and said that only target groups could get vaccinated at the moment.

The Ministry said in a statement, "MoH would like to deny what has been circulated via the social media channels that the MoH will vaccinate all community groups. MoH clarifies that the vaccination is limited to the target groups only, which have been announced in advance."

The ministry also said that it will announce any expansion for the target groups to take the vaccine via its social media platforms. "MoH urges all to not respond to rumours and take information from reliable resources only."
