Muscat: As many as 1,263 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were registered yesterday in Oman, in addition to 19 new COVID-19-related death cases.
This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 182,693 in the Sultanate.
The total number of COVID-19-related death cases reached 1,909, the Ministry of Health said.
The Ministry also pointed out that 986 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 162,656 recoveries.
The Ministry also pointed out that 92 cases were hospitalised over the past 24 hours, adding that the total number of current hospitalised COVID-19-infected patients stands at 805, of them 263 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
