Workers’ rights violations recorded by GFoW

Muscat: Four reports of workers' rights violations have been registered by the General Federation of Oman Workers (GFoW), during the period between 11 April and 15 April, 2021.

According to the federation, reports included violations like deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves during quarantine periods and notifications of termination of service.

"Six settlement records and collective work agreements through meetings of work teams in the governorates, which are tasked with following up and reviewing the decisions of the national workforce who terminated their services from work, during the period from April 11 to 15, April, 2021,” the statement added.
