Dust storms forecast for parts of Oman

Muscat:  Oman Meteorology has forecast dust storms and strong winds over deserts and open areas of the Sultanate on Monday.

The daily weather forecast for Monday said, "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with advection of clouds. Chances of low level clouds or fog patches late at night or early next morning around Dhofar and Al Wusta’s coastline.”

The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 34 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees in Muscat Governorate, 35 degrees and 25 degrees in the wilayat of Sohar, 38 degrees and 23 degrees in the wilayat of Ibri , 38 degrees and 24 degrees in the wilayat of Nizwa and 38 degrees and 24 degrees in the wilayat of Rustaq. A fog and dust warning was also issued.

According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the highest temperature expected on Monday is 40 degrees in the wilayats of Adam, Fahud, Mahout and Al-Mudhaibi the lowest is 15 degrees in Jabal Shams.
