Sa’al Steps a popular place for hikers

Muscat: Jabal Khoneh or Sa’al Steps (trails) is one of the areas that is fascinating to hiking amateurs due to the beautiful landscape and the challenges they face.

The road leading to  Sa’al Steps is surrounded with high palm trees and other trees. The hiking sport at the area has drawn the attention of citizens and residents of both genders as the hiking sport is inspiring and represents a challenge to them.

Climbing Jabal Khoneh or Sa’al Steps is not that easy for beginners but difficult and interesting at the same time. The distance from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain is 1.8 kilometres and the start area at the foot of the mountain is 190 metres above the sea level.
