Strict punishment for violating education rules in Oman
Muscat: Violating regulations, systems and decisions regarding the establishment of private schools is an offence and can get imprisonment for a period of three months and fine of OMR 500.
"Private schools are established by an approval from the Ministry of Education in its capacity as the supervisory authority for stages of general education and its different types. Violation of regulations, systems and decisions regarding the establishment of private schools are offenses that result in imprisonment for a period of three months and a fine that extends to OMR 500 or by either one of these two sentences,” the statement said.
