Kindness often costs very little, yet its value is immense. During these challenging times, show some kind gestures to your friends, neighbours and strangers. It could be something as simple as ordering a takeaway iftar box from a local restaurant to help support during the current difficult times, sending a bouquet to a friend who is unwell, reaching out to the elderly couple in your neighbourhood and volunteering to buy their groceries this weekend... it can be anything. All we all need to do is to be kind. Remember, a small act of kindness can make a huge difference in someone's life.
Ramadan words
Oh you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you many learn piety and righteousness" (Q 2:183)
Choose healthy cooking methods
Try baking instead of deep-frying them. Also enjoy your sugary Ramadan juices in moderation and aim for more servings of laban, homemade iced green tea, or plain water.
