Ministry orders fishermen to carry valid license to fish in the evening in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has warned  fishermen who fish in the evening to hold valid fishing licenses during the movement ban.

A statement issued online by Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said: "In line with the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 , which include preventing the movement of individuals and vehicles from 9 pm until 4 am throughout the days of the month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources warns that the decisions of the Supreme Committee must be adhered to and that fishermen who practice the profession of fishing in the evening period must carry valid fishing licenses. For trucks transporting fish of 3 tons and above, it is excluded from the movement ban decision."
