Good deed: Forgive others
Forgiving others and sometimes yourself can be a daunting task that takes years to master, but the virtues rewarded from God are far more glorious. Today, grab a paper and list down the names of those who wronged you and try to offer them your forgiveness. It could be something as simple as verbal abuse, to matters that are more personal. Once you overcome this difficult task, you’d feel that a heavy weight has been lifted off your chest, because your forgiveness weighs a great deal to Allah the Almighty, who in return will offer you his forgiveness and cleanse you from sins, especially in this blessed month of Ramadan.
Ramadan Words
The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.
Health tip: Stay hydrated
As we enter the Holy Month of Ramadan it is essential to look after one's health especially during the current times. While it is important to take enough rest and relaxation, it is equally important to keep oneself fit by doing light exercises, staying hydrated and getting enough of fresh air.
