Muscat: The fisheries control team has seized illegal fishing nets in Muscat Governorate.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said: "The fisheries control team in Muscat Governorate, in cooperation with the Coast Guard police, was able to seize violations related to the use of fence nets and Daghieh nets in fishing without a license and seizing the violation of selling shrimp outside the season in a site not designated for sale on a car that does not carry a license from the Ministry, and legal procedures against the violators are completed."
