Lulu's ’Convoy of Goodness’ creates meaningful impact on people's lives during Ramadan

MUSCAT: Lulu group has launched the ’Convoy of Goodness’ campaign to distribute special Ramadan grocery kits to deserving families, reflecting the spirit of sharing and caring in its true sense during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Lulu’s Convoy of Goodness is travelling across major governorates in Oman to distribute Ramadan essentials to families in need. The campaign is part of Lulu’s continued commitment to engage in several charitable, humanitarian and community activities and create a positive impact on the community.

The campaign, which is a continuation of the initiative that Lulu had started last year, will run throughout Ramadan. By launching such a move, Lulu aims to foster the spirit of unity and relationship with the community as well as contribute to instilling the concept of sharing and caring during Ramadan.

Lulu has joined hands with N7Z (Nahnu) volunteer team to implement this charity campaign. The volunteers have been travelling across the city as well as the remote areas of Oman, distributing Ramadan kits. The kits contain food provisions and groceries needed for a whole month for an entire family during Ramadan. The convoy will cover governorates such as Muscat, Dhofar, and Sharqiyah.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Shabeer K.A., Regional Director – Oman stated, “We are happy to launch this initiative and be an active part of the community. By doing so, we also highlight the importance of sharing and being socially responsible during Ramadan. We thank the N7Z volunteers who have supported us to carry out this noble initiative,” he added.

Lulu constantly aims to engage with their customers and the wider community to understand their needs and preferences better. This enables the group to continuously improve their services and tailor their offerings to meet the evolving requirements of their diverse customer base.
