Modern College of Business & Science proudly joins the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), an UN-supported Initiative

Modern College of Business and Science announced that we have become a Signatory Member of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) - a United Nations-supported initiative that aims to raise the profile of sustainability in business schools around the world, equipping business students with the understanding and ability to deliver change tomorrow.

With this announcement, MCBS is proud to join over 800+ business and management schools worldwide committed to transforming management education and developing the responsible decision-makers of tomorrow to advance sustainable development.

PRME engages its signatory members to report on their progress in their sustainability journey and provides them with resources for curriculum, skill set, and pedagogical development, as well as platforms for knowledge sharing.

PRME engages business and management schools to ensure they provide future leaders with the skills needed to balance economic and sustainability goals while drawing attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligning academic institutions with the work of the UN Global Compact.

As a voluntary initiative with over 800 signatories worldwide, PRME has become the most significant organized relationship between the United Nations and management-related higher education institutions. More than a third of the Financial Times' top 100 business schools participate in PRME.

By adopting the Seven Principles, the MCBS has pledged to engage in a continuous process of improvement regarding the application of the principles, to share information on progress regularly, and to contribute to the learning experience of the academic institutions participating in the global PRME community. We will contribute to a broad movement to generate a wave of positive change, thereby helping to ensure a world where both business and society can flourish.

"In line with our commitment to these principles, MCBS is proud to participate in and engage with PRME—a UN Global Compact initiative reflecting our commitment to the prospects of our students and extended MCBS Community," noted Dr. Muneer Al Maskari, Executive Chairman.
