Oman's embassies across the globe celebrate 53rd National Day

Muscat: On the occasion of the Sultanate of Oman's glorious 53rd National Day, Oman embassies across the globe hosted receptions and events respectively.

Oman Embassy in UAE 

Abu Dhabi: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) celebrated the 53rd National Day.

On this occasion, Sayyid Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the UAE hosted a reception in Abu Dhabi.

The reception was attended by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court.

The reception was also attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State in the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, senior officials and heads of the Arab and foreign Diplomatic Missions accredited to the UAE.


Oman Embassy in Brunei Darussalam 

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Brunei Darussalam hosted a reception on the occasion of the 53rd National Day under the patronage of Irma Said Al Kathiri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam.

The government of Brunei Darussalam was represented in the reception by Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development.

 During the reception, documentaries were screened highlighting Oman’s history, heritage, comprehensive and renewed economic renaissance in all fields.

Oman Embassy in Tunisia

Tunis: Dr. Hilal Abdullah Al Sinani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Tunisian Republic held a reception on the occasion of the 53rd National Day at the Sheraton Hotel in Tunis.

The Tunisian government was represented during the ceremony by Dr. Mohamed Ali Boughdiri, Minister of Education, Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Shaibi, Minister of Religious Affairs, Tunisian political officials, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions, representatives of Arab and international organizations, consuls, military attachés accredited to Tunisia, university presidents, academics, media professionals, artists, intellectuals and Omani students studying in Tunisia.

During the reception, a documentary featuring the Omani Renaissance was screened, along with microfilms highlighting Oman Vision 2040.

Oman Embassy in Netherlands 

The Hague: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Kingdom of the Netherlands celebrated the 53rd National Day.

On this occasion, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah Salim Al Harthy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, held a reception in The Hague.

The reception was attended by Eric Vervall, Secretary-General of the Royal Palace, the envoy of King Willem-Alexander of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Nazhat Shamin Khan, Deputy Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, senior civil and military officials, representatives of private sector establishments, ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and officials from the International Court of Justice and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
