Muscat: In alignment with Oman Vision 2040 and its strategic focus on youth empowerment & support to SMEs, Shabiba, the leading Arabic daily published by Muscat Media Group, is organising, Sout Al Shabiba – Tamkeen wa Ta’theer (Forum on the Voice of the Youth – Empowerment and Impact).
The forum will be held on Monday, 23rd June, at Hotel JW Marriott, Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC), Muscat. The event will be held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sayyid Faris bin Fatik Al Said, whose presence as Chief Guest underscores the national significance of this initiative and reaffirms his dedication to supporting the aspirations of Oman’s youth.
This Arabic-language forum is designed as a dynamic and thought-provoking platform that brings together the voices of the next generation. It aims to foster open, impactful discussions that focus on the real challenges and aspirations of young Omanis while encouraging solutions that can lead to sustainable and inclusive growth.
The event will bring together inspiring young achievers, next-gen leaders, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, academic experts and senior policymakers for a collective conversation around youth empowerment, supporting entrepreneurship and nation-building.
The forum aims to promote meaningful conversations and foster actionable insights to take concrete steps towards building a brighter, more sustainable future for Omani youth and the nation as a whole.

Other focus areas include bridging the skills gap between education and industry, financing youth-led ventures, expanding the startup ecosystem, strengthening mentorship and leadership development, enhancing public-private partnerships for employment and innovation, enabling youth-led social impact, and building a resilient workforce equipped with soft skills for tomorrow’s challenges.
The forum will feature engaging panel discussions including “Cultivating Entrepreneurship & Innovation for Omani Youth” and “Policy, Collaboration & Sustainability for Youth Empowerment.”
