ROP responds to shooting near Mosque in Wadi Al Kabir

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police dealt with a shooting incident in the vicinity of a mosque in the Wadi Al Kabir region, which resulted in the death of four people and the injury of a number of others, according to preliminary information. 

All security measures have been put in place to deal with the situation, and procedures for collecting evidence are being completed as part of the investigation. The Royal Oman Police expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
