OIH launches medical cards  for journalists in Oman

Muscat : Oman football legend Ali Al Habsi, who is also the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar Ambassador, launched a medical campaign with the Oman International Hospital (OIH) on Monday.

With the FIFA World Cup Qatar set to kick-off on November 20, OIH launched a medical card for journalists accredited to the Oman Journalists’ Association.

The initiative to bring the media together to launch a medical campaign was held at a ceremony, organised by the OIH, at its premises.

Mohammad Al Araimi, president of the Oman Journalists’ Association, and Marcelo Pereira, CEO of OIH, and Salem Al Habsi, president of the Gulf Sports Media Federation were present on the occasion.

Azza Al Rubaie, OIH director of marketing, said: “The medical card for journalists, in cooperation with the Oman Journalists Association, will allow them to avail a special medical package in Oman for a year.”

She said that the hospital has also launched a campaign for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with their own hospital and the World Cup ambassador Ali al Habsi.

The campaign will include a package of medical services, competitions and prizes during the World Cup from November 20- December 18.
On this occasion, senior journalists were also felicitated by the hospital.
