Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister received on Sunday Hans Grundberg, the newly appointed UN Special Envoy for Yemen, currently visiting the Sultanate.
The two sides exchanged views on the efforts exerted to achieve a full and permanent ceasefire from all parties in Yemen.
They also discussed easing the flow of humanitarian aid and entering a political process that fulfills aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people towards peace, stability, national unity and reconstruction.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs and officials from the ministry.
