Oman celebrates Onam

Muscat: Indian expats in Oman celebrated the festival of Onam with fervour on Saturday.  

Onam is an annual harvest festival predominantly celebrated in the south Indian state of Kerala.

The festival embodies the diverse culture of Kerala and is generally celebrated at the end of August or beginning of September.
