Ministry inspects site of factory fire in Sohar

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour inspected a factory in Sohar Industrial Area, following a fire that broke out there. 

“The Ministry, represented by the Directorate General of Labour in North Al Batinah, was briefed on working conditions at the factory, after the fire three days ago brought production to a halt,” the ministry said.

“Saif Al Badi, Assistant Director General of the Directorate, visited the factory, met with the administration and reviewed the damage caused by the fire. They also talked of how to support the workforce until the production line is restored,” the ministry added.
