First day of Eid Al Adha announced in Oman

Muscat: Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs announced in a statement, yesterday, that Saturday September 3 is 1st of Dhul Hijja 1437 H.

Accordingly, Arafa Day which falls on 9th Dhul Hijja will be on Sunday 11th September and the first Day of Eid Al Adha which falls on 10th Dhul Hijja will be on Monday 12th September.
On the occasion, the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs extend their heartfelt greetings and wishes to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, praying to Almighty Allah to return this occasion on His Majesty the Sultan with good health and happiness and the Omani people and all Muslims with progress and wellbeing.
