Pro-Palestine solidarity: Oman ministry suspends Women’s Day celebrations

Muscat: In solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people, all activities scheduled to be held during the coming period including Omani Women’s Day celebrations will be suspended, said the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD).

MoSD said in a statement "In solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people and in light of the current events and continuing escalation in the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Social Development announces the suspension of all its activities scheduled to be implemented during this period, including activities to celebrate Omani Women’s Day. "

" We pray to God Almighty to lift the calamity and harm from our brothers in Palestine and to support them with His victory and success and grant them security," MoSD added.

North Al Batinah suspends activities 

In solidarity with Palestinians, the Office of the Governor of North Al Batinah announced to all institutions in the governorate the suspension of all activities scheduled to be implemented on the occasion of Omani Women’s Day, in solidarity with the unfortunate and painful events that the brotherly Palestinians are currently facing.
