Sayyid Badr discusses Palestine issue with Egypt, Syria foreign ministers

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received phone calls on Sunday from Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, of the Syrian Arab Republic and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, during which the ongoing events on the Palestinian territories in Gaza were discussed.

The ministers also discussed the regional and international efforts to contain the escalation and to ensure the humanitarian needs of the population in Gaza are met. They stressed the importance of stopping the Israeli aggression and resorting to the peace option based on international justice and legitimacy.
