Oman's military forces carry out support operations for shelter centres

Muscat: Units of the Royal Army of Oman, represented by the 11th Infantry Brigade, 23rd Infantry Brigade, and the Sultan’s Armed Forces, carried out support operations for shelter centres in the wilayats of Muscat, Al Amerat, and Quriyat in the Muscat Governorate, and the wilayats of Rakhyut and Sadah in the Dhofar Governorate.

This comes within the framework of the national efforts and humanitarian services provided by the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence to citizens and residents of this country, along with the other government institutions, as a result of the weather condition. Food supplies and necessary items were transported from the Oman Authority’s stores for charitable purposes to designated shelter centres in the governorates.
