Muscat: The General Federation of Oman Workers (GFoW) has registered three reports of workers' rights from March 21 to April 1, 2021.
According to the federation, reports included a deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves during quarantine periods, and notifications of termination of service.
According to the data shared by the Federation, The total number of reports that the General Federation has monitored from 2020 to 2021 amounted to 466 reports, of which 427 were registered in 2020
and 39 reports were registered in 2021.
"The total number of settlement minutes and collective work agreements reached 483, including 366 in the year 2020 and 117 in the current year,” the statement added.
