Muscat: As many as 3,139 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were registered in Oman during the last three days, in addition to 31 new COVID-19-related death cases.
This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 163,157 in the Sultanate.
The total number of COVID-19-related death cases reached 1,712, the Ministry of Health said.
The Ministry also pointed out that 2,038 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 146,677 recoveries.
The Ministry also pointed out that 97 cases were hospitalised over the past 24 hours, adding that the total number of current hospitalised COVID-19-infected patients stands at 590, of them 186 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
