Muscat: Four expatriates have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and more than 30 kilos of drugs have been seized from their possession. The gang was arrested in South Al-Batinah governorate.
The ROP said in a statement, "South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and the Coast Guard Police, arrested four expatriates on charges of smuggling narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking and for entering the country illegally. Seized from their possession is 35 kg of crystal drug and 5 kg of morphine."
