Muscat: The Sultanate has issued a statement regarding the developments that have occurred in Jordan.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The Sultanate is closely tracking the developments in the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and affirms that Oman stands by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Jordanian King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, and offers its firm support for everything that would guarantee the security, sovereignty and stability of Jordan.
