Dust storms forecast over some parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of dust storms over the Al Buraimi and Al Dahirah governorates on Sunday, Oman Meteorology said in its forecast.

"Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate. Chances of low level clouds or for late at night or early morning over parts of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta Governorates. Warnings issued for fog and dust storms,” the forecast said.

The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 37 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees in Muscat Governorate, 38 degrees and 25 degrees in the wilayat of Sohar and 41 degrees and 25 degrees in the wilayat of Ibri, 41 degrees and 23 degrees in the wilayat of Nizwa and 40 degrees and 24 degrees in the wilayat of Rustaq.

According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the highest temperature expected today is 42 degrees in the wilayats of Fahud, Al Mudhaibi and Haima and the lowest is 15 degrees in Jabal Shams.
