Opposition creates ruckus in Jammu and Kashmir Council

Jammu: Opposition members on Monday created ruckus in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council over civilian deaths that took place during summer unrest in the valley and later staged a walkout from the house in protest.
When obituary references were being read out for leaders who died since the last session, opposition members shouted slogans against civilian killings in the Kashmir Valley during the five-month long unrest following the killing of top militant Burhan Wani in July.
They also demanded halting of the use of the pellet guns and PAVA shells(Pelargonic Acid Vanillylamide or Nonivamide) by the security forces in Kashmir.
Shouting anti-government slogans, they later walked out of the house in protest after repeated requests from Council Chairman Haji Anayat Ali failed to bring calm.
