Khoula Hospital building inaugurated in Oman

Muscat: Built at a cost of OMR8 million, the Ministry of Health celebrated the opening of new building of Khoula Hospital on Tuesday.
The new building has been constructed over a total area of more than 11, 000 square metres donated by Suhail Bahwan Group.
Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health presided over the inaugural ceremony of the project.
The building comprises three main departments which are the out-patient clinics (neurosurgery clinic, plastic surgery clinic, hand surgery, general surgery and foot & diabetic foot clinic), rehabilitation and physiotherapy department and day-care surgery department.
These sections are new additions to the healthcare services delivered by the ministry in general and by Khoula Hospital in particular.
Moreover, they confirm to the principle of social responsibility among private sector institutions in supporting the multi-government projects.
It is worth mentioning that out-patient clinics started operating almost one month back while work at the rehabilitation and physiotherapy department and day-care surgery department started yesterday.
