Oman declared president of the Arab Women Organisation

Cairo: In the final declaration of the 6th Conference of Arab Women Organisation (AWO), Oman was declared as President of the 8th Round of the Arab Women Organisation (AWO) for the period from March 2017 to March 2019.
The AWO reaffirmed that the current conditions in the region necessitated regional solidarity and pooling of efforts for comprehensive and sustainable development. Aisha bint Khalfan bin Jamil Al Siyabi, President of the Public Authority for Craft Industries and member of the Executive Council of the AWO, chaired Omani delegation at they Cairo conference.
