Jet Airways to launch more flights to India from Oman

Muscat: India’s premier international airline — Jet Airways — is looking to launch more direct flights to several Indian destinations from Muscat in the next couple of years.
Colin Neubronner, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing, Jet Airways and Shakir Kantawala, vice president, Middle East and North Africa, who were in Muscat, talked about the expansions plans for the airline.
“We plan to add one more flight to Mumbai besides launching direct flights to Calicut and Bangalore from Muscat,” Shakir Kantawala said, in an exclusive interview with the Times of Oman.
The flights will be added over the next couple of years when Jet Airways receives more aircraft, which they have ordered. Currently, Jet Airways flies to Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi and Trivandrum from Muscat.
Campaign
The airline will also launch an integrated marketing campaign highlighting its Indian hospitality. Comprising a mix of offline and online channels, the new campaign is being rolled out from next week across the airline’s key markets in the Gulf comprising Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Branded “Think Home. Think Jet Airways,” the campaign will highlight the advantages that Jet Airways offers its guests, along with its partner Etihad Airways, when flying between the Gulf and India.
Guests can take advantage of the airline’s robust network and experience its award-winning Indian hospitality, together with a warm and personalised family spirit, that has helped the airline create new benchmarks in service excellence.”
Besides connecting the Gulf and India, the airlines’ gateways in Abu Dhabi, Amsterdam, Paris and London will also facilitate convenient connectivity to Europe, the United States and Canada.
