Oman health: Indian girl who fell from building now stable

Muscat: A nine-year-old Indian girl, who fell through the window from the third floor of a building while feeding pigeons in Al Khuwair on Monday morning, is recovering at the hospital, her father’s friend said.
“She is recovering. Her vitals are becoming stable now. However, she is still in the intensive care unit and under observation,” the father’s friend, who had visited her in the hospital, said.
The girl, a fourth standard student at a private school, was rushed to the Khoula Hospital in Muscat after she fell through the window while feeding pigeons.
The accident occurred at around 11am on Monday. The four-storey building, where the girl and her family stay, is located near the Radisson Blu hotel in Al Khuwair.
She was first rushed to Badr Al Samaa in Al Khuwair and later to Khoula for advanced treatment.
A medic from the Badr Al Samaa hospital in Al Khuwair, where the girl was first rushed for treatment, said she was admitted to the hospital with head injury.
“As the girl was in a critical condition, we rushed her to Khoula Hospital in our own ambulance,” the medic added.
