Oman accident: Driver killed in petrol tanker crash

Muscat: A petrol truck driver died on Wednesday in a traffic accident in Liwa, North Al Batinah governorate, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) reported.

According to PACDA Twitter handle, the truck was loaded with liquefied petroleum gas as the experts on hazardous materials in cooperation officials from a the truck's company are working since yesterday to empty the dangerous cargo.

The accident happened at 17:11pm.
