4.3 earthquake hits Oman coast

Muscat: An earthquake measuring 4.3 on Richter scale occurred in the Arabian Sea near the Salalah coast on Tuesday morning, according to an official at Sultan Qaboos University Earthquake Monitoring Center.

"The epicenter of the earthquake is some 282km off the Salalah coast of Oman at 6:24am,” said the official adding that tremors were not felt on the land.
