Kuwait: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left the State of Kuwait on Tuesday after a two-day state visit.

Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait led the farewell ceremony for His Majesty the Sultan.

His Majesty was also seen off at the Amiri Airport by Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister, Sheikh Sabah Khalid Hamad Al Sabah (Head of the Mission of Honour), Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, Sherida Abdullah Saad Al Maousherji, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Council of Ministers Affairs, Dr. Imad Mohammad Al Atiqi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Ahmad Fahad Al Fahad, Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan, Dr. Mohammed Nassir Al Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Sultanate of Oman, senior Kuwaiti officials and members of the Omani Embassy in Kuwait.

Upon his departure, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik sent a cable of thanks to Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait.

In the cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere appreciation to the Emir of Kuwait for the warm welcome and hospitability.

His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied during the visit by a high-ranking official delegation that comprised HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Dr. Saleh bin Amir Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait. -ONA
