Al Buraimi: The activities of the second edition of Al Buraimi Carnival which started on May 3, will end on May 7 at the Al Buraimi Public Park.
Salim bin Namshan Al Ka’abi, Director of the events and awareness department at the office of the Governor of Al Buraimi, said that the carnival is one of the activities to attract tourists in the Governorate of Al Buraimi. The events witnessed good turnout of visitors.
The event offers an opportunity for the SMEs and families to display their products. He said that the carnival includes a number of activities, entertainment and cultural events, theatrical shows, heritage villages and several corners for food, competitions and accompanying activities.
He said that the number of participants amounted to 40, including event organisers.
The first edition of the carnival received over 25,000 visitors and saw the organisation of 70 events with the participation of 15 jobseekers from the Governorate of Al Buraimi.
It also provided 33 marketing outlets for SMEs and 26 outlets for families.
