On the final day of the athletics competition Kultham Al Jabri clinched a silver in shot put while Moayad Al Badri settled for a bronze medal in the 400m race.  Azza al Hinai won bronze in the 200m race while the boys’ and girls’ 4x100m relay quartet also won bronze medals in their respective events.

While the athletes excelled in Dubai, the national chess players made the Sultanate proud at the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club.

The U14 girls’ team won a silver while the U18 girls’ side claimed a bronze. The boys’ U18 matched their girls’ counterpart as they also won a bronze.
