OMR22 million allocated  for development projects in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate

Nizwa: Al Dakhiliyah Governorate saw the execution of a number of development and service projects in 2024 within the wilayats development plan.

The execution of projects  is aimed to achieve various development and national goals.

The Office of the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate said that currently 43 projects are under execution at a cost of OMR22.283 million and included road maintenance, rehabilitation of souqs, construction of public parks and gardens and landscaping projects.

Sheikh Hilal bin Said Al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah said that the execution of the projects comes within the priorities for the current year with the focus on the social and economic dimension of development and for making available the public services that meet the needs of the society.

He added that the projects included rehabilitation of internal roads and public parking lots in the wilayats of the governorate.
Sulaiman bin Hamad Al Sunaidi, Director General of Al Dakhiliyah Municipality said that the key projects under execution included internal road works in the Wilayat of Bahla for the length of 62 kilometres and internal road works in the wilayat of Al Hamra for the length of 51 kilometres, which are expected to complete during the last quarter of 2024.
