A slice of luxury in the heart of Dubai

Muscat: The opulence of Dubai is staggering but it doesn’t stop you from craving more.

Dubai is a much-loved getaway for the people of Oman and Middle East.

Omanis and expats living in Oman often visit the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a long weekend or a quick getaway, or even for business travels. If you are looking at Dubai for a business trip or even a vacation, the newly opened Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay is the latest option to explore.

Situated on the bustling Marasi Drive A in the Business Bay area, around 4 km away from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, the cylindrical tower of Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay is sure to catch your eye even before you check in.

A swanky addition to the city, the hotel blends open lobby concept, history and local culture in its architectural geography — glass panels, and modern amenities accentuated with carvings and a couple of restaurants with an eclectic menu.

Staying at UAE’s first Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay with open lobby concept, my room opened up to the incredible views of Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. The open lobby concept is one which transforms the otherwise traditional
hotel lobby into a multi-functional hub, encouraging a dynamic environment where individuals seamlessly blend work, enjoy dining experience and have social interactions. The design therefore incorporates connected facilities to enhance the overall experience of guests.

A first-of-its-kind mid-market range hotel at the Dubai Business Bay, the 275 room hotel has one belief — a commitment to redefine guest experiences.

Just a short drive from Dubai International Airport, the hotel is located in the heart of Dubai’s business and leisure district, just steps away from iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and the Dubai Canal.

The modern and stylish guest rooms and suites equipped with modern facilities and 55-inch smart TV, and comfortable beds.

The hotel also offers a range of meeting and event spaces that can accommodate up to 100 guests, complete with the latest audio-visual equipment and a professional and comfortable setting for any business meetings, conferences and events.

Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay also offers a vibrant dining experience with two stylish restaurants to choose from.

Brasserie is a chic European restaurant with an eclectic menu of classic dishes and modern twists. La Plancha Terraza Mexicana is the perfect place for alfresco dining where you can enjoy a selection of Latin classic bites & drinks.

Haitham Mattar, managing director of IHG Hotels and Resorts, India, Middle East and Africa, said, “The launch of the Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay marks a significant milestone in our commitment to redefine guest experiences this year. The Holiday Inn Open Lobby concept revolutionises the way guests interact with hotel spaces, creating a dynamic and integrated environment. We are confident that this innovative approach will set new standards in hospitality, offering guests a unique and memorable stay.”

Bruno Hivon, general manager, Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay, said, “We are thrilled to open the Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay, the first of its kind in the UAE with the new Open Lobby concept. This innovative approach to hospitality sets the stage for a new era in guest experience, combining functionality and relaxation seamlessly. Whether you are here for business or leisure, our hotel promises a memorable stay in the heart of Dubai.”

With an aim to appeal to families, Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay offers children aged 12 and below the option to stay and eat for free too.

But what I liked the most was to witness the spectacular Burj Khalifa from my room at Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay.
