Weather: Heavy rainfall forecast for several parts of Oman

 Muscat: A number of governorates in the Sultanate of Oman may witness heavy rainfall on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 1 pm till 10 pm.

 According Oman Meteorology, the affected areas that may witness heavy rainfall are parts of Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, North Al Sharqiyah and South Al Sharqiyah.

Oman Meteorology forecasts thundershowers ranging between (20-55)mm , downdraft winds , poor horizontal visibility during thundershowers and chances of overflowing valleys.

 The Meteorology has advised people to move away from low-lying areas, not to swim in valleys. It has also recommended people to supervise their children and make sure they stay away from approaching or crossing valleys to ensure safety.
