Fak Kurbah: 58 priosners released so far as part of 11th edition

Muscat: 58 prisoners have been released in less than ten days since the beginning of Fak Kurbah initiative in its 11th edition.

51 cases have been released in Al Dhahirah governorate. A philanthropist - who refuses to reveal his name - announced he is responsible for the release of all detainees who meet the initiative criteria in Al Dhahirah governorate. Oman Youth Group donated and released seven new cases of detainees as part of the ⁧‫Fak Kurba‬⁩h initiative.

In the 11th edition, more than 10 government institutions and private sector companies, announced their support for the ⁧‫Fak kurbah initiative within their social responsibility. This is further confirmation that the success of the initiative and the reach of its voice to all, is evidence of the strength and cohesion of Omani society, both individuals and institutions.

Since it is launch in 2012, Fak Kurbah initiative was able to release more than 5,890 cases. In the 11th edition, it is looking forward for broader participation from members of society, individuals and institutions.
