Muscat: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) has officially launched the “Explore” platform to introduce investment opportunities available in industrial cities in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) officially launched the “Explore” platform as part of ongoing efforts to provide a business environment that attracts investments and stimulates the localization of projects in various fields by enabling investors to learn about the opportunities available in industrial cities in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman under the patronage of Engineer Daoud bin Salem Al-Haddabi, CEO of Madayn.
Engineer Alia Bint Abdullah Al Nasiri, Director of Planning and Geographic Systems at the General Directorate of Facilities and Infrastructure in Madayn, said that the “Explore” platform comes within a package of digital systems implemented by Madayn during the executive plan for digital transformation emanating from the objectives of Madayn 2040 Vision (2021 - 2025) to provide an enabling digital environment for the industry that attracts investment and develop sustainable digital solutions to build an effective and competitive industrial sector.
Al Nasiri pointed out that this system enables investors and those wishing to invest to browse the information of each industrial city in terms of area, leasing policy, investment data, and type of activities, know the list of companies and investors based in each industrial city, and browse the data of localized companies such as commercial activity, contact information, and company location. In addition to displaying the office spaces in the Muscat Knowledge Oasis from a two- and three-dimensional perspective, and the possibility of searching for the most appropriate investment opportunities by identifying the types of existing industrial and commercial activities, specifying each location and specifying the required space.
Al Nasiri added that the “Explore” platform provides, via the electronic link, a set of services to the current investor in “Madayn” and the potential investor, starting with the service of displaying available and updated investment opportunities to enable those wishing to invest to browse these opportunities in various industrial cities according to commercial and industrial activities.
