Muscat: A number of government and private institutions have provided support for the "Fak Kurbah ” initiative in its 11th edition.
A number of government and private sector institutions provided support for the “Fak Kurbah ” initiative in its 11th edition, which comes under the slogan “Because we believe that a person deserves a second chance” to release 1,500 cases this year of those imprisoned or against whom orders were issued according to the terms of the initiative.
Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Zadjali, President of the Omani Lawyers Association and supervisor of the “Fak Kurbah” initiative, expressed his thanks to the contributors to the initiative, including individuals, groups and institutions, stressing that the successes achieved by the initiative are evidence of the solidarity of the Omani society in extending a helping hand to the needy, and contributing to the efforts of those in charge of the initiative to achieve its societal and humanitarian goals.
Al Zadjali added that the contribution of government and private institutions is another confirmation of the success of the initiative and the reach of its voice to everyone, and evidence of the strength and cohesion of Omani society, both individuals and institutions.
It is noteworthy that during its humanitarian journey since 2012, the “Fak Kurbah ” initiative contributed to the release of more than 5,890 cases.
