Muscat: Rainfall of varying intensity expected over several governorates of the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, said Oman Meteorology.
Oman Meteorology said in a statement: " The latest forecasts and analyzes of the National Multi Hazards Early Warning Center indicate continued chances of scattered rain of varying intensity in parts of the Governorates of Al Dhahirah and South Al Batinah, and may extend to include parts of the Governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat, North and South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta, leading to the flow of valleys and reefs. "
" It is expected to accompany these condition:
1. Scattered rainfall (5-35 mm) leading to flow to reefs and valley.
2. Active downward winds (15-60 knots), " the statement added.
The Civil Aviation Authority calls on the public to be cautious and not to risk crossing valleys.
