MERA calls on residents to sight Ramadan moon

Muscat: The main committee for sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan‬⁩ for this year 1445 AH will meet tomorrow evening, Sunday, at the headquarters Office of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. 

MERA called on citizens and residents to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the holy month.

According to astronomical calculations issued by the Ministry, the Sun will set on Sunday evening at 6:14, and the moon will descend at 6:24, 3 degrees away from the sun with an illumination intensity of 0.1%. the crescent stay period will reach 10 minutes after sunset.
