Body of missing tourist located in Al Jabal Al Akhdar

Muscat: Search and rescue teams managed to find the body of a missing person after several days of searches.

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said: “Search and rescue teams of the Royal Oman Police, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority were able to find the body of the second missing person (a French tourist), in the wilayat of Jabal Al Akhdar.

“His vehicle drifted while trying to cross a valley on February 13, 2024, during the rough weather conditions that the Sultanate of Oman went through,” CDAA added.
