Muscat: The Wilayat of Dibba in Musandam Governorate has received the highest amount of rainfall in the Sultanate of Oman during the period from February Sunday, 11, 2024 till, Monday, February 12, 2024 amounting to 140 millimeters.
According to data shared by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, the Wilayat of Dibba in Musandam Governorate has received 140 mm of rainfall from February 11 till February 12, 2024 until 4 pm, followed by the Wilayat of Barka in South Al Batinah Governorate with 110 mm and then the Wilayat of Al Buraimi in Al Buraimi Governorate with 103 mm.
While the Wilayat of Mahdha in Al Buraimi Governorate has recorded 88 mm of rainfall, 76 mm in the Wilayat of Shinas located in North Al Batinah Governorate , 74 mm in each of the Wilayat of Sunaynah in Al Buraimi Governorate and in the Wilayat of Madha in Musandam Governorate and 70 mm in the Wilayat of Saham in North Al Batinah Governorate.
The Wilayat of Khasab in Musandam Governorate has received 66 mm of rainfall, 55 mm in each Wilayats of Sohar and Yanqul and 52 mm in the Wilayat of Liwa.
